Remove LoanAce manually.

If the regular uninstall process does not remove LoanAce you might have to remove it manually. It's a straightforward process, just follow the directions below.

  1. Right click on “Start” to expand the context menu and on the menu click on “Explore”

  2. In the top menu click on Tools / Folder Options. Click on the "View” tab and in the Advanced Settings pane change ‘Hidden files and folders’ to ‘Show’ and click OK

  3. In the left part of the screen locate and click on the “Local Settings” folder

  4. Select the folder named “Apps” (NOT Application Data!) and delete it

  5. Find the “temp” folder (there might be several, the one we’re concerned with is C:\temp or D:\temp) and delete all files in it

  6. Delete any LoanAce desktop shortcuts
  7. Go to LoanAce.com/Download and install the latest version.
