Missing Loan Files
The LoanAce application retrieves all loan information from your LoanData folder stored on your computer.
If this folder is moved or renamed the program will not be able find the data . If you are missing loan files, LoanAce may not be searching for your LoanData folder in the correct location.
Steps to Locate Files:
- Open My Documents and verify that your LoanData folder is there and is named correctly.
- Folder not there? Check your computer's Recycle Bin.
- If the folder is there, select it and click Restore.
You will need to restart LoanAce to bring the files back into the program. If your LoanData folder is in "My Documents" and named correctly, try the following steps.
Check LoanData Folder Settings:
- Open LoanAce. Go to the top menu bar and click Tools, Settings, then select the Loan Folder tab.
- Click on the Folder Icon and browse to select file destination for your LoanData folder
- Click Save and Close.
Loans within LoanAce will update within a few seconds. You may need to restart LoanAce for the changes to be complete.
