Installation Instructions


Before Installing:

  1. Be sure to turn your computer's firewalls OFF during installation.
    (Firewalls may be turned back on after installation is complete.)

  2. Upgrading from a previous version? Uninstall any existing version of LoanAce completely first!

  3. Run the small Microsoft Utility vs_piaredist.exe to ensure your computer is current
    with MS updates.


Important: Do not attempt to save or run the installation file to or from a CD. Doing this will prevent installation from completing and 'temp folder' error will result. Also, keep running programs to a minimum during the installation process.


Installation:

  1. Go to www.loanace.com/download/

  2. Choose which version of LoanAce to download. Click here for PRO vs. Standard comparison.

  3. Follow installation prompts.

  4. A dialog box will open with the options to "Run" or "Save".

  5. Select "Run" and the file will be downloaded to your computer.
    1. Installation will start automatically.
    2. Click 'Install' when prompted.

    OR

  6. Select "Save" to save the installation file to your computer. Do not attempt to save the file to a CD.
    1. Once download is complete navigate to the saved file.
    2. Open "Install LoanAce PRO or Standard".
    3. Click "Install."


    NOTE: With Windows Vista, a window may appear requesting confirmation to continue. Click "Continue" to allow the installation to complete.
